TriOptimum Security Products today introduced the AccessNet K9, the new top-of-range controller in the K-Series, which adds phone and fingerprint credentials to the keypad and card readers of earlier models.

The K9 controls up to four doors, keeps a tamper-evident log of 250,000 events and communicates with the AccessNet console over encrypted links. Like every K-Series controller, it fits the standard AccessNet back box and reads code tables from earlier models, back to the AccessNet 4K of 1993, so customers can upgrade without re-enrolling staff.

The K9 is available from today in 33 countries.
