TriOptimum Orbital & Research Systems today announced the appointment of Edward Diego as Station Executive of Citadel Station, effective 1 July 2019. He will be responsible for the operation of the station, its crew and its research programs.

Mr. Diego joined TriOptimum Network Services in Toronto in 1999 as a network engineer and has been Vice President of Network Operations since 2016. In that role he led the consolidation of the maintenance networks of TriOptimum’s facilities onto a single secure backbone, and sponsored Network Services’ public-interest hosting work.

Ed knows how to run complicated systems that cannot be allowed to stop, and how to make them run better. That is exactly what Citadel needs as it enters its next chapter.

Gerald Hume, President, Orbital & Research Systems
