Sentinel to protect the perimeter of a major European hub airport

HALSWORTH, England, 9 September 2025

TriOptimum Security Products has been selected to protect the perimeter of one of Europe’s busiest hub airports with its Sentinel detection system, under a ten-year contract that includes installation, monitoring and maintenance.

The installation will cover 47 kilometers of fence line with fence-mounted, buried and radar sensors, tuned to tell the difference between wildlife, weather and people. Alarms will be verified by video and passed to the airport’s security control room within seconds.

The airport will be the eleventh international airport protected by Sentinel. Installation begins in January and will be carried out in stages over eighteen months, without closing any part of the airfield.

For security reasons, the airport has asked not to be named.
